Steadicam
For over 10 years Scott Jolley has been operating steadicam on a variety of feature films, network television, music videos and corporate shows and production. Our current rig is the Steadicam Clipper with a camera load limit of 50 pounds. We consider the steadicam a musical instrument. A good operator is the key. When the stabilizers hit a few years ago, many pronounced the steadicam dead. While we embrace stabilizers and what they do, a good steadicam op can react far better to humans and their movements. Go figure.
