Jib Arm
Jib arms are the foundation of our company. Scott Jolley began operating jibs around 1990 and fell in love with the moving images they made possible. Our weapon of choice is the Stanton Video Jimmy Jib Triangle Jib Arm. They are workhorses and very reliable. Each of our jibs comes with full sets of backup electronics. Set up time varies on jib arm length but averages between a half hour and a full hour.
The hothead is controlled by joystick and the arm can support a camera load of up to 50 pounds. The distance from the pivot point to the end of the arm is called the reach. The Jimmy Jib Triangle has a reach starting at 6 feet and then increasing in 3 foot increments all the way to a 30 foot reach.
