Here at SJPS we love to learn and share equipment and techniques. With that in mind we are having another “Gear Party” this Saturday, January 16. Included in the gear line up will be

The DJI Inspire1 with both Zenmuse x3 and X5 camera and gimbal. Sean Joseph with Blackburro Creative will also have his “Big Bird” available for demonstration.

Flight status will be weather dependent.

The Jimmy Jib Trianglejib arm. This piece of equipment will be be assembled and hands on training will take place. A Red Epic shall ride with Chris Commons giving tips and tricks for both the jib and the camera.

Tiffen’s Steadicamwill be ready for an immersive experience in the beautiful art of steadicam operation. We will be using a Bartech Follow Focus and Teradek Bolt HD wireless system in conjunction with the rig.

You may or not be able to chase a blood covered girl with the steadicam. We are working on it…

DJI Ronin, Ronin M, and the Osmo. Learn about the proper set up of these wonderful film making tools.

Andy Romero may also show up with an Arri Alexa and a Sony FS7.

Others have mentioned a variety of other pieces of cool gear that may show up, we shall see.

Bring some buisiness cards and anything you want to promote. This event is designed to be an open communitty of film makers that can exchange ideas and contacts.
